27 Top Hotels in Paris With an Eiffel Tower View

Before we dive right into this topic, I know that 27 hotels (plus some bonus rentals) is a lot. I’m going to section this off based on hotels I’ve personally stayed in or had a close personal friend recommend, luxury hotels, boutique hotels, affordable hotels, other, and then the rentals.

So if you just want to browse quickly to one of these sections, I recommend looking at the Table of Contents above and jumping to whichever one catches your eye.

But, here is the full list of Eiffel Tower view hotels!

Note: Many of these hotels are located in the 7th arrondissement (where the Eiffel Tower is located), the 15th arrondissement (next to the Eiffel Tower), the 16th arrondissement (across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower), and the 18th arrondissement (Montmartre is on a hill, which overlooks Paris and has many Eiffel Tower views). Refer to my map below for each hotel!

Hotels With a View of the Eiffel Tower That I’ve Personally Stayed In (Or Had a Close Personal Friend Recommend)

Terrass Hotel in Paris
Terrass Hotel.

First and foremost, as someone who has visited Paris a ton and lived in France, there is a lot of value in getting actual recommendations from people who’ve been there and stayed in these hotels.

So these are my personal recommendations, and I even include a hotel that one of my best friends has stayed in and loved too because personal recommendations are always great.

That being said, I also love researching (you should see my travel Excel spreadsheets!). So if none of these hotels speak to you, then I’ve got others that I’ve researched to help you out below!

Note: Not every room in every hotel listed in this post will have Eiffel Tower views. You need to make sure to book a room that does have a view. And just to be 100% certain, it is worth reaching out to the hotel (or at least verifying on their website) to guarantee that the room you are looking at booking is in fact an Eiffel Tower view room (especially as they can change the names of their rooms I mention below).

1. Terrass Hotel

Montmartre

View of Paris from Hotel Terrass

Guys, this may be my favorite hotel in all of Paris. And I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Paris. I try to stay in a new place most of the time so I can 1) get a feel of the neighborhood I’m staying in and 2) to make helpful recommendations to you all.

And Terrass Hotel is top tier for me. For starters, it’s adorable, the staff are so kind and helpful, and there is a rooftop bar and restaurant that overlooks the city. It is truly iconic.

But the rooms are also great! We stayed in the Privilege Room – Eiffel Tower View and loved watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night before bed! We also enjoyed waking up and sipping coffee while admiring the view.

And if you want a hotel in Paris with an Eiffel Tower view AND a balcony, upgrade to their Privilege Room – Eiffel Tower View & Balcony.

They also have the Junior Suite – Vue Tour Eiffel and the Penthouse – Vue Panoramique which also have Eiffel Tower views.

2. Cler Hotel

7th Arrondissement

Located in the 7th, you’re not far at all from the Eiffel Tower. I stayed here and really enjoyed it! Rooms are cozy, and this hotel is located right along Rue Cler, where you can enjoy the Rue Cler market complete with shops and restaurants.

There are great places to grab a coffee too and enjoy it by the Eiffel Tower.

If you want a room with Eiffel Tower views, be sure to book the Rooms With Eiffel Tower.

3. Hotel des Arts – Montmartre

Montmartre

Hotel des Arts Montmartre

Another great hotel in Montmartre, I’ve stayed in this hotel before, and it is close to many great bars and restaurants and the sights of Montmartre. It’s also a cute hotel with cozy rooms. As a bonus, some rooms here offer Eiffel Tower views! Be sure to book a double room with a view (and request an Eiffel Tower view).

4. Courtyard by Marriott Gare de Lyon

12th Arrondissement

I’ve actually stayed here a couple of times. I mean, Marriott is consistent in their offerings, and this hotel is no exception. I love a good Marriott hotel, and it’s great too if you have points!

What I love is that it is next to the Gare de Lyon train station. So if you’re looking for a hotel where you can easily take the train south (from this station) the following day, this is perfect.

And on my first stay here, I randomly got a room that overlooked Paris…including the Eiffel Tower. I squealed with delight! Because this is a taller building, it overlooks the city even though it’s across the city from the Eiffel Tower.

Overall, it’s a great spot to stay, is close to Gare de Lyon, and has great views. Just be sure to book the Eiffel Tower View room. They also have rooms with views of the Sacre Coeur and the Gare de Lyon train station.

5. Hotel Artemisia Montmartre

Pigalle

Super close to Montmartre in the Pigalle neighborhood, this hotel is super charming on its own. I also love the Pigalle neighborhood and rave about it both in my Where to Stay in Paris guide and Where to Stay in Paris for First Timers article.

My friend Amanda from A Dangerous Business stayed here recently and highly recommended it to me. Plus, this place has a spa and bar.

Be sure to book a Suite Montmartre room and request an Eiffel Tower room as this can either have Eiffel Tower or Sacre Coeur rooms.

Luxury Hotels in Paris With Eiffel Tower Views

Paris in a day | Ultimate 1 day in Paris itinerary | Seine River in Paris with Eiffel Tower on the left

I’m a mid-range traveler for the most part, so the reason I haven’t stayed in any of these hotels I’m listing in this section is because well…I don’t want to spend a ton of money.

That isn’t to say these aren’t on the someday list when I want a more splurge-worthy visit to Paris, but if you are here for your honeymoon, are going on a splurge-worthy trip, or luxury hotels on vacation are just your norm (hi, can we be friends?), here are some luxury hotels in Paris with Eiffel Tower views.

6. Hotel San Regis

8th Arrondissement

Located in the 8th arrondissement, you’ll start to notice a pattern that a lot of luxury hotels in Paris are located in the 8th and 16th arrondissements. San Regis is no exception here.

Like any 5-star hotel, you can expect gorgeously designed rooms, a great bar and restaurant, and attention to detail.

For Eiffel Tower views, opt for the Terrace Junior Suite complete with your own private terrace.

These are definitely going to cost you, as the suites with views include the Katara Suite (with access to a private rooftop terrace), the Rooftop Eiffel Suite (which also comes with access to a private rooftop terrace), and the Rooftop Garden Suite (Access to the rooftop garden-but you’ve got to request an Eiffel Tower view)!

Now I’ve not stayed at this hotel, but I have eaten at the restaurant on the 15th floor here called Bonnie. And the views are iconic here! We enjoyed Eiffel Tower views while eating dinner and while exploring the terrace at sunset.

Aside from the restaurant, they have a spa and wellness center and many rooms with great views.

For Eiffel Tower views, opt for the Ateliers d’Artistes La Poete, Ateliers d’Artistes – La Peintre, Suite Bernstein, Ateliers d’Artistes larger suite (but make sure you make sure you have an Eiffel Tower view), and Suites Bernstein & Louis XV (again, verify that your room has the view).

Affordable Hotels in Paris With an Eiffel Tower View

Eiffel Tower View from Montmartre
Montmartre has random views of the Eiffel Tower.

I’ll preface this by saying that cheap hotels in Paris with Eiffel Tower views are few and far between. Also, what constitutes “cheap” varies from person to person.

Not to mention the fact that the cost of a hotel room in Paris will vary wildly based on the room you choose (spoiler alert: Eiffel Tower view rooms are almost always more expensive) and when you visit.

But yes, there are more affordable hotels in Paris that do happen to have rooms with views of the Eiffel Tower. Let’s talk about it.

23. Hotel Passy Eiffel

16th Arrondissement

Located in the 16th arrondissement, this charming hotel is a nice little oasis in the city. Now, while you can’t directly book an Eiffel Tower view room, you can request one by contacting reception. They may not be able to guarantee it, though. I would reach out first and ask them the correct room to book to increase your chances of an Eiffel Tower room and then request one.

Read reviews and book it here if you wish!

24. Hotel Ares Eiffel

15th Arrondissement

Located close to the Eiffel Tower, this hotel even allows pets at no extra cost!

Now, while the hotel in general is affordable, note that the Junior Suite, which boasts Eiffel Tower views, probably isn’t.

Regardless, it is a good place to stay if you want to be close to the Eiffel Tower.

Tips For Getting An Eiffel Tower Room

Here are a few tips to help you get an Eiffel Tower room.

  • Be willing to spend some money. Again, most hotels with Eiffel Tower view rooms will charge a premium for said rooms. Some aren’t terribly expensive (as shown above), but a lot are.
  • To save money on your hotel, travel in the off-season. That’s what I did to snag an Eiffel Tower room at Terrass Hotel. In February, you can get an Eiffel Tower room for about €260 a night. Whereas in September, it can be like €400+ per night! We took our chance to stay here at a cheaper rate and booked the Eiffel Tower room!
  • Ask the hotel. While I tried my best to let you know which rooms have Eiffel Tower views, sometimes hotels have regular rooms that happen to have Eiffel Tower views. This isn’t a guarantee by any means, but it can’t hurt to check with the hotel before booking a regular room and requesting an Eiffel Tower view (you’ll want to do this well in advance). Also, it always helps to verify that the room you’re looking at has a view before booking, as they can change the names I’ve discussed above for rooms at any time. You can also reach out and ask specific hotels which rooms they have for views and request those.
  • Staying by the Eiffel Tower means being further from other places. The Eiffel Tower isn’t in close walking distance to places like the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, etc. However, you can catch the metro or bus and be fine, it just isn’t as convenient as staying in the 1st-6th arrondissements.

As you can see, there are a lot of great options for your Eiffel Tower hotel experience. Most, again, are located in the 7th, 15th, 16th, and in the 18th arrondissements, which are either near the Eiffel Tower itself or in Montmartre which overlooks the city!

I hope this helps you narrow down your choices and you get your dreamy stay in Paris!
